  • Richard Bunn, N4ASX will be speaking about Amateur Radio Emergency Service® (ARES).  The Amateur Radio Emergency Service® (ARES) consists of licensed amateurs who have voluntarily registered their qualifications and equipment, with their local ARES leadership, for communications duty in the public service when disaster strikes.     First licensed as WN2FMF in high school in 1971, Now N4ASX issued in 1978.  Very active with the Alexandria Radio Club and the Pentagon Amateur Radio Club.  ARES EC for City of Alexandria.  Operate HF/VHF/UHF All modes, as well as D-Star.
